Sunday Wrapup

Another day of adventure in the books. After a couple days of intermittent rain and high winds we left Warrenton and the DC area. Winds were still up but right down the runways and almost down the runway at our first stop in Reading PA and the Mid Atlantic Air Museum. In route we practiced our formation flying and it looked pretty good (to me). The flight to Reading went well and we arrived without incident and toured the small but interesting museum. Because winds were still brisk we decided to stay in Reading and found a Holiday Inn Express at the airport terminal and will stay there tonight.

We all look forward to tomorrow when we see the sights of Lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and much more from 1000 feet above the Hudson River. All cameras and video recorders will be running so I hope we have some great pictures to share.

Here is the Shenandoah Valley as few see it. Enjoy.

Here is a youtube link if you have trouble watching the above.
