It has been exactly one year since 5 souls set out in 3 homebuilt airplanes on what turned out to be the trip of a life time. We covered over 6000 miles in 13 days from May 5th to May 17th and saw some of the most spectulacular parts of the western part of these United States. It was fabulous!
We want to do it again! This year we have planned to go to New England. Stops include Kitty Hawk, time in and around Washington DC, a flight up the Hudson River in New York, stops up the coast to Maine, a low pass/orbit of Niagara Falls and many stops at aviation oriented museums.
We plan to begin our trip on Saturday, May 11th from Cleveland Airpark (0GE5) outside Cleveland Georgia and be gone for maybe 10 days. Weather will again dictate our daily flight schedule and overnight stops.
